"I have come to give you life and life more abundant ... "
When Jesus made this declaration, He was not giving truth for us to haphazardly claim in times of trouble.  Instead, He was inviting us to a way of life.  In the verses preceding this one, Jesus talks about His sheep following His voice ... following His way.  If we are going to experience life abundant, we must walk in the way that He has mapped out for us.  We must walk the way that He walked, and live the way that He lived.  This is only possible through the freedom that He brings.

2 Peter 1:3 says that "God's divine power has already given to you everything that pertains to life and godliness through the knowledge of Him that has called us to glory and virtue." We have been called to a life of glory and virtue, and His power has already made provision for it.   We do not have to live the way that we have been living.  It is time that we leave the bondage of our perceptions and past experiences in order to encounter this awesome power.  This could be the best year of our Christian lives.  Are you ready?  Let the knowledge of His truth set you free!
