  5 Catalyst Men’s Superbowl Party

  Our next Catalyst Men's event will be the 2012 CATALYST SUPERBOWL PARTY on Sunday night, February 5th, at 5:30pm. We will be viewing the game on the big 14-foot screen! Whether your favorite team is in the big game or not, come wearing your favorite sport's jersey. There will be food, fellowship & football! The $10 ticket fee is to cover food & drinks. We encourage this to be a father and son event, but no childcare will be provided. You must register for this event at Register.therefuge.net. See you there!

  Vertical students, grab your sleeping bag and pillow, because we are having a sleepover Friday, February 10th! GUYS, you will be sleeping over at The Refuge Concord Campus, so show up there around 7pm. You will be doing what guys do best—guy stuff! GIRLS, you will be staying at Pastor Eric and Amanda Lotzʼs home, so head to Pastor Amanda’s house around 7pm. We will be doing what girls do best—girl stuff!   Calling all Concord campus Refugees, join us Saturday morning, February 11, at 8am for our next Concord campus Workday! Wear your work clothes and roll up your sleeves because we’ve got a lot planned to keep our Concord campus looking as beautiful as ever! Bring your tools, gardening supplies, paint supplies, and anything else you find handy for a workday, and we will bring the coffee! We look forward to partnering with you as we strive to maintain the standard of excellence here at The Refuge Concord campus!

  11 Monthly Artist Gathering (MAG)

  The Creative Arts Department of The Refuge is starting a new monthly meeting called MAG—Monthly Artist Gatherings.  The first official, informational, and inspirational meeting will be on Saturday, February 11th, at 1pm, in the youth building at The Refuge Concord Campus.  We will be discussing plans for workshops, outings, and meetings in 2012.  So if you are artistic in any way and would like to fellowship and grow with other creative folks, make plans to attend MAG on February 11th!

  12 Salisbury Relevant Interest Meeting

  If you are 18-25 years of age and attend our Salisbury Campus, Pastor Justin would like to meet with you about a new leadership group starting in Salisbury. Come out to Port City Java on Sunday, February 12th, from 6-8pm, for a time of fellowship with Salisbury Campus Pastor Justin Porter.

  12 ETS Classes

  ETS, Equipping The Saints, classes will be held Sunday nights, February 12th-26th from 4:30 - 6:00pm, and will be taking place at both Concord and Salisbury campuses. ETS is a 3-week course that teaches the values and vision of The Refuge and how to function in the church body. You will also be presented with overviews of the ministries of The Refuge and how you can get involved! At the end of the course you may choose to make covenant and become a member of The Refuge. You can register for this class by contacting the church office or by registering online using the tab at the left of this screen! Childcare will be provided from children 10 years old & younger for those that register. We look forward to seeing you there!

  16 Awakened Worship Encounter

  Ladies of The Refuge, join us on Thursday, February 16th, at 7pm at The Refuge Concord Campus, for our next Awakened Worship Encounter! We are excited to see what the Lord releases as Johanna Espamer leads us in worship and Teri Furr delivers a timely word. Childcare will be provided for single mothers only, however you must register by calling the church office no later than Monday, February 13th. We look forward to seeing you at Awakened!

  Vertical 6/8 students, Tuesday, February 21st, we are having a special service just for you! Well, not really for you, but for your friends, and we need your help! This is going to be a Vertical 6/8 service like you have never seen before! All you need to do is bring as many of your friends as you can get to the service. There is one minor warning though: they might not ever want to leave! Remember, that’s Tuesday February 21st, at 6:30pm!

  24 Vertical 6/8 Laser Tag Outing

  Vertical 6/8 students! Are you ready for another awesome fun event that you'll never forget? Well, check this out: on Friday, February 24th, we are going to play laser tag! If you went with us the last time we went to play laser tag, you know just how awesome it was...if not, make sure you mark your calendars so you can find out! We will be leaving The Refuge Concord Campus at 6pm and we will return at 9pm. The cost is only $15, so we will see you Friday, February 24th for all the Laser Tag awesomeness!

  25 Water Baptism

  The Refuge is now offering water baptism during our weekend services on the last Saturday of the month, every month. So, in February you will have the opportunity to be baptized on Saturday, the 25^th at our 7pm service. If you wish to be baptized you may using the Baptism Registration tab at the left of this screen. You will be required to attend a baptism class on Saturday the 25th at 4:30pm, before baptism. If you are ready to follow Jesus in water baptism, register today, then plan on attending the class on the 25th at 4:30pm, and come ready to get wet and be changed!

  It’s time for another Vertical Gathering service! On Wednesday, February 29th, all the high school students of The Refuge are invited to join us at The Gathering. If you have never been, or if it’s been a while since you’ve been, to Vertical, you do not want to miss this awesome service on Wednesday, February 29th! The party in the parking lot starts at 6:30pm, so we will see you there!

  Clubhouse ROCK is sponsoring a NEW and very special event this year...Father/Daughter Mystery Date Night on Friday, March 2nd! If you have a daughter in 1st-6th grade, make a special Father/Daughter memory with her by registering for this event using the registration tab at the left of this page. You dads will then receive SECRET instructions via email, as we don't want to RUIN the mystery by giving it all away here!  Please register by Tuesday, February 21st at the latest.  We are looking forward to this SPECIAL night with you!
