Jesus took her by the hand and said to her, “Talitha koum!” (which means, “Little girl, I say to you, Rise!”). Immediately the girl stood up and walked around (she was twelve years old). At this they were completely astonished.

“Talitha Koum” is a phrase spoken by Jesus to a girl that He is bringing from death into life. We are calling the young women of our churches and community to a place of consecration and purity as they move from adolescence into adulthood … and begin living the life that God intended for them to live.
