Day 4

Hey, Refuge family, this is Pastor Prabu. And as we've been fasting for Selah, I thought I'd bring a couple words of encouragement for everybody. God has me in the Beatitudes right now. And Matthew, chapter 5, verse 8 talks about how blessed are those who are pure of heart, for they shall see God. I don't know about you, I want to see God.

I've seen the evidence of God around me, but I just want to see God move in powerful ways. And the Bible clearly tells us the best way to do that is to make sure we check our heart posture and that it is pure. The definition of a pure heart or purity per se is a freedom from a mixture of substances that don't go together. And as we are fasting this week and keeping away from things, I want to really encourage every one of us to really search our hearts. Because even though there are some things externally that we're like, oh, that's just no good for us when it comes to food and stuff, but are there internal motivators that partnering with sin or things that we just are having a hard time parting with.

Can I encourage you take this week to part ways with that and see where that gets you? Because God says the pure of heart will see him, and I don't know about you, I want to see God. See God is not moved by the words that we say or God knows the condition of our heart. God knows it. We have nowhere to hide when it comes to God.

So if we really check on the posture of our heart, God says, man, he is getting ready to do some amazing things in your life and the life of others around you. So, Refuge, family, hope you have an awesome time fasting. It's gonna be a great week. Say hey, when you see me.
