Launch 2026 Night 1

Thank you so much for inviting me to come over. He'd be in trouble if he didn't just want to say, it's an honor to be here in your house. You have blessed us over the years. And I know Philip's relationship with Pastor Jay. He's known him for a long time.

I don't think I probably met Pastor Jay for the first time now last year, I think could be wrong. But what an honor to be here this year at the beginning of your year. Of course, Pastor Jay blessed us twice last year by coming to Zambia and then coming to our. This year, coming to our conference. And I hope it's just the beginning of so many more from this church that will come and visit us in the nations that we're at.

But there was one little thing that I wanted to share tonight as we were having dinner. I need to tell you something. My parents were missionaries in Brazil for 40 years, so that's where I'm from. I'm from Brazil. And so as a Brazilian, we have a house in Florida, Floridian, and we live in Zambia and African.

There's something I was really excited about coming to Charlotte this weekend. Yes, the meeting, but also the snow that's coming tomorrow. It's not the kind of life we live. And so to hear that there's 95% chance of snow. Snow all day, I promise you.

I was really excited. And Pastor Jay said something during dinner. He says it's going to cover everything. And immediately, a story flashed through my mind of something that happened to us. We minister in a lot of different nations, and one of the nations we minister to is in Angola.

And there we minister to a particular tribe that up to just maybe 10, 12 years ago, had never, ever heard. Heard of the name Jesus Christ. I mean, never heard. Not. Not even a concept of.

Of God and who God is or what God is. And we had the chance with our children that are here tonight with us to go and. And visit this tribe and begin a relationship with them. But when you arrive in a tribe like that, you just don't come preaching because they. They don't know what preaching is, right?

So you start building a relationship. And one way that I was trying to get a relationship with them, like just a rapport, build something with them. I was telling them about snow, and I told them, I said, you know, where we come from in America, there's this white thing that falls from the sky, and it's cold to the touch. And I said, when it falls, it falls there and over there. And over there, and it covers the entire ground, and the entire ground is white.

And they looked at me like, what is she talking about? But let me respond. So then they respond and they said, huh? Over here we have this thing. Water falls from the sky.

And when it falls, it falls over there and over there, and it covers everything.

And when I thought about this story and the storm that's supposed to come, I say, suppose, because we never really know, right? Whatever the weatherman is saying. But the storm that's supposed to come here tomorrow and the fact that this is your first revival night of the year, it reminded me of this verse that I want to read for you. And I was actually surprised to see this word in the verse because I know about the rain, but I didn't pay much attention to the snow. But here it is.

Isaiah 55, verse 10 says this. For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return there, but water the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth. It shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose and shall succeed seed in the thing for which I sent it. We know that the ultimate and final word of God is Jesus Christ. And I just want to declare tomorrow, as the snow falls in Charlotte and you are launching the beginning of this year full of expectations that we are going to see tomorrow as the snow falls, we are going to be reminded that the glory of God is upon Charlotte and it is over that neighborhood and that neighborhood and that neighborhood.

And the glory of the God of God is going to fill this town, and it's going to fill every family and household in this church. Amen. This is an amazing year that you've walked into. God is going to do great things. And it begins today in this house.

Well, I'm really excited about tonight. A couple of things. I'm just so thankful that you sent your pastors to us in Zambia. Pastor J is one of the most eloquent preachers, storytellers, describers of the word. I know.

He's amazing. And he put his feet on the soil of Africa. And the shape of his foot is still left in our sand.

We can still hear his voice. Thank you. I'm excited about tonight because, really, because it's launch night.

That's like that. That's really what excited. I brought the truck as just like exhaust fumes.

The real core of Shaking nations is not in strategy, in design, in architecture. It's in the power of God. It's like it's got to be there. And it's all in the launch nights that we've had along our journeys that create all the results, that everyone champions, that cheer the results. And they don't remember that.

It came from nights like tonight where humbly, we came with our lives to the realms of heaven and said, this fragile vessel, I just give it to you. And in those moments of glory is where everything changes. And that's tonight. That's tonight. That's the calendar.

And let me tell you, in calendars, heavenly calendars have earthly dates. I know that the heavens are open to us seven days a week, but we gather on Sunday, you know, and the glory of God comes in the gatherings. There was a day called Pentecost. It was a human calendar date where the heavens invaded Earth, where our human five senses tangibly felt the glory of God. And if I was to title tonight's message, I have two titles.

I have a religious title, and then I have an artistic creative title. If I had to title this religiously, I would call this the Touch of God.

If I had to have a creative title, I'd call it the Fuel of God.

Because. Because in your Christian walk, in our Christian walks, there are mechanics to our walk. There are unchangeables. There's realities of redemption, of theology. That won't change in your life.

They will not change. It will make no difference to your life, too. These facts of redemption happened, and they are available to every believer, but not every believer accesses them. There are realities that are permanent, but they are not.

They're not tangible in your five senses. That's why when Jesus left the earth, he said to his disciples, don't do anything, man. They've been with him for three years now. If you travel with me for three years, I promise you, you're going to have a little bit of a South African accent.

You're going to have a lot of the three years is a long time. Actually. It's actually by the second year, you're actually moving people along. But after three years, you know the person intimately. And Jesus says, don't do anything.

You're not ready because. Because you only have mechanics. It's the fuel. You have a very nice vehicle, but no fuel. You got to put this fuel in this amazing vehicle.

And it's the glory of God in the tangible. In the tangible.

And so on the day of Pentecost came this fuel. They had the logic, they had the study under Camelliel, they had the. The law, they studied everything. They had the vehicle and the power of God touched them. And they began and the church began to set a precedent for waiting for the glory of God on human calendars.

And I say that because we must understand as believers, don't become familiar with the anointing, don't become familiar with the glory of God and think, oh, I'll just live in the glory. Yeah, you do live in the glory. You do. But there's a glory that comes in the corporate anointing of the church of the body that you long for in the gathering. That's why Jesus said gather together 500 of you.

Remember there were 500 at present when he said, don't go anywhere, Wait for me in Jerusalem. How many arrived? 120. Not everyone's listening here. Don't go anywhere.

Wait for me for the glory of God to come on you. Now I will just also go back in scripture to the finishing of Solomon's Temple where it was a prophecy of the finished work of Jesus. Understand? Everything in the Old Testament was a prophecy of Jesus. Everything a prophecy of Jesus.

So when Solomon's temple was being commissioned, the temple represented the new creation, the finished work of Jesus, the abode in which he would live your body.

At the commissioning of the temple, the Bible says the glory cloud came down upon the priests. How many priests? 120. 120 priests at the commissioning of the temple at the upper room, 120 people. Amazing how God does that in a picture to show you that you were always meant to, to have the glory of God in a thick tangible cloud, touch your life.

And I share this in the design of fuel because many people build beautiful architectures of religion. Great buildings, great businesses, great infrastructure, great scaffolding together carry people. But you got to put fuel in it, otherwise we just miss it for the generation.

And so I want to start with the apostle Paul quickly. And I'm going to build into something tonight about the touch of God. Because there's two things about the touch of God that has to be exercised in your life. And tonight I'm trusting God to touch your lives. That the glory cloud, the same cloud, the same glory comes into this building that it did in Solomon's Temple.

It came in the upper room that has come here before that will increase in glory every time it comes tonight. So I'm going to Instruct you in one thing, that as I begin to share the Word tonight, if you begin to feel the anointing on your body in a powerful way, which some of you will early on in the service, if you feel the anointing, the power of God unusually upon your body, then you just make your way forward and find a place up in the altar and just begin to just kneel down, lie down, sit down, I don't care, get up front, just start coming up front. The moment you feel the anointing on your, on your life, that a glory cloud, come on, you just start heading forward. You're not going to bother me. This is not a Sunday service.

You're not too worried about the unbelievers that are here. There's no unbelievers in the building. You all believers, you all came hungry for God. So you just feel these are moments, like you mustn't miss these moments. Don't even just come.

Amen. So the Apostle Paul says In Romans, chapter 15, he says he's writing to the church and he says this amazing, amazing line that I picked up on. He says, when I come to you. He was referring to his last mission trip, his third mission journey and greatest mission trip before he died. It was this massive trip.

He referred to this trip and he said, when I come to you, I will come in the fullness of the blessing of the Gospel of Christ. I just love that statement because firstly he said, when I come, it's not if I come, I'm a when I come person. You know, Cameroon, when I come. Cuba, when I come, Iraq, when I come. I'm not if I'm I am coming when I come.

I'm not just patrolling your country, your city, your suburb. I'm coming in the fullness of the blessing of the Gospel of Christ, the most powerful delivery ever to come upon your country. That's what I'm arriving with. That's what he writes before he leaves on his third mission trip. Then he takes the trip.

Some interesting things about this trip. This was the journey that he gets to Ephesus and there's a riot in Ephesus. He leaves Ephesus and he goes to Bithynia and the Holy Spirit forbids him from preaching. Then he goes to another city and the Holy Spirit forbids him there. Then while he goes down to Troas, now he's getting forbidden everywhere by the Holy Spirit.

I wish there was more people would be forbidden by the Holy Spirit to do things. You know, us believers as Christians, we like, scratch Our heads. No, please don't forbid them, Lord, from doing that. It's messing us up as a church. But he was getting forbidden from preaching.

And then he has the dream. A man in Macedonia calls him to come to Macedonia, goes to Macedonia, which was, by the way, west of Asia Minor. So he's now traveling west, further out of the regions of all the churches of Asia Minor, travels west, gets to Philippi. Now he's in the Roman Empire. And he meets Lydia and he meets Jason.

Lydia's the first church plant in the whole of Europe. He meets Jason, her first convert. He goes down to Athens and he meets the Areopagite. Dionysus, the Areopagite, the guy that preached to the Roman churches, the Greek churches of Athens, and took them off the map. No more.

No more Greek religion to this day. From Dionysus life that happened on his trip. He gets to Corinth and he has an amazing time in Corinth. First time to Corinth, then leaves Corinth and starts heading home.

Goes back through Philippi, comes down through Bithynia, and he's got Ephesus. The next stop on the map is Ephesus. Ephesus was. This was. It was the city where all the.

All art. The action was there was a big church in Ephesus. There was a center of learning in Ephesus. It was a port city. It was beautifully.

It was beautiful architecture. It was the city to stop at. And he had a big church there. And he already been there on the trip. And he says to the.

To the team, don't take me to Ephesus, but leave me on the island of Melitos, outside of Ephesus, and tell only the elders of Ephesus to come see me. Why would you do that? And he writes there. This is what he writes in Acts, chapter 20.

You'll hear me change Bible pages often. I don't preach out of an iPad, so I'm old school. Like to smell, feel. The Bible says chapter 20 and verse 16, it says. For Paul had decided to sail past Ephesus so that he would not spend time in Asia, for he was hurrying to be in Jerusalem, if possible, on the day of Pentecost.

Here's Paul with all of this ministry experience with all of these churches, exhausted from his mission. Big trip with one mission. I'm going to go back to Jerusalem because there's another day of Pentecost. It was 30 years past the Pentecost, the initial Pentecost. It seems like they kept a calendar day that the Glory would come in and they would all wait for it.

Jerusalem. And it would. And God would show up every time in Pentecost, in the glory, in the fuel, in the fire, in the touch of God upon the church. So that's why Paul says to his elders, if you meet me, if I go to Ephesus, you're going to slow me down and I'm going to lose my number one priority. The touch of God in the tangible that's found in the community of faith.

Let me just say the touch of God can most definitely happen in your bedroom alone. And I have experienced that. But most likely it's going to be under and within the realm of the body of Christ.

So when the gatherings come like this, in meetings like this, where there's hunger, where there is submission to his authority, where there is leadership that agrees to the realms of heaven open, that they let their hands loose of the control. It's like a secret sauce fire of God's going to come. And that makes all of the difference. Let me tell you this. When the anointing and the presence and the glory of God come in the natural, it shifts the atmosphere.

It's like an EMP bomb. You know what an EMP is? You don't know an empty. I just had an EMP bomb on my sailboat. I got struck by lightning, and the lightning went down the mast and fried every instrument on my boat.

But it also fried all of the batteries in my Milwaukee drills.

And it fried my headlamps that weren't plugged in. It was an emp. It just fried everything. The atmosphere in my boat was charged with so much energy that it blew every single instrument.

When the glory of God comes in the natural, it affects the atmosphere of a city.

Hallelujah. So you can pray for Charlotte. Until you blew in the face, you will pray. But until the fire of God comes to Charlotte, there won't be any change.

It's in the glory.

So Paul had a discipline in his life to always find his source back in the tangible presence of God and respond really quickly to it. He said. He said.

So that I would not spend time in Asia, for he was hurrying to Jerusalem for the day of Pentecost. There's a hurrying, there's a speed. Often, let me tell you, when there's an anointing, there's a glory of God in a meeting. Be the first one to move.

You old guys, young guys, they move quick. You old guys, I'm just telling you, you got to break. That thing becomes so settled, you don't realize it's not about you. It's about the atmosphere over your life, over everything you do.

So I'm going to. I'm going to go to Jesus. And the last thing ever said in the Old Testament, there was this interesting book, Malachi. It was the last book of the Old Testament. It was the last prophecy ever to be said over mankind before the birth of Jesus.

And it was 400 years of silence after this prophecy. So God says something so potent in this last chapter of Malachi, it's such a mic drop that he says, I'll never have to say another thing for 400 years. That's how powerful this word is. Now you think, like, why would God not say things? I mean, 400 years of not saying another thing to mankind.

He prophesied all the way along and then says to those who fear my name, the son of righteousness will come with healing in his wings. Boom. Drops the mic. 400 years. Long enough that no human could claim credit for what is about to happen.

Long enough that no one could write a book or say a prophecy to say they claim any allegiance to this that was about to touch the earth in Jesus Christ.

And then Jesus arrives, born in Nazareth, Bethlehem, from Nazareth, and begins his ministry. And we get this mark, chapter five. Interesting scenario. It says now, when Jesus had crossed over again by boat to the other side, a great multitude gathered around him. He was on the other side of Galilee.

A great crowd of people got around him. He had to get away from the crowd. So he got in a boat, went on the other side, and when he got there, a great crowd gathered around him. He's trying to get away, and he's got this crowd around him now. He's trying to get out of the crowd.

A man by the name of Jairus comes to Jesus and says. And this guy says, my daughter, who's 12 years old, is sick. Would you come to me? Now that's just Jesus. Yes, I'm interested in you, Jairus.

Get these people away from me. I'm interested in individuals. So he wants to go to Jairus House, and there's a crowd, and a woman with the issue of blood comes up behind him. He's already irritated with the crowd. People are touching him everywhere.

And he's trying to get to Jairus. And a woman comes up behind him and touches him. Everyone's touching him, but she touches him with a different touch. The Bible says a certain woman with an issue of blood for 12 years and had suffered many things from many physicians. She had spent all that she had and was not better, but rather she grew worse when she heard that Jesus, when she heard about Jesus, she came up behind him in the crowd and touched the hem of his garment.

And Jesus said, immediately, immediately the blood dried up and she knew that she was healed. And Jesus immediately knowing in himself that power had left his body, he said, who touched me?

Here's what happened. This woman actually had this ailment for 12 years. Interesting. So the daughter was 12 years old. The woman was sick for 12 years.

So the logic would be it was almost a prophecy. It was almost like the woman was carrying the pain of a generation, an entire generation in her body. She was like prophetically releasing all of the discrimination, the rejection and the fear and shame of a generation on her body because she had it for exactly the same amount of time. That Jesus mission was a 12 year old, a 12 year old generation, a generation that's been alive for 12 years, but he's actually sick. And I am going to take that pain and give her life.

It's just the prophecy of the new creation all over the New Testament. It's amazing. But what actually happened was Malachi had prophesied this scripture and said, to those who fear my name, the Son of righteousness will come with healing in his wings. Now, in the Hebrew, that wing was Kanaph. It wasn't wings.

It was actually the tassels of the prayer shawl. The wings were the wings of the prayer shawl. So a rabbi would know that it wasn't angel's wings or his wings. It was the Son of righteousness would come with healing in the tassels of his prayer shawl. So when the woman reached out to Jesus, she grabbed the tassels of his prayer shawl.

She was exercising the faith within the church to receive the glory of God. You see, God wants to touch you. You have to touch him.

But you don't touch him in need. You don't touch him out of your weakness. You don't touch him out of your depression. That's not the way you touch God. You touch him.

By f you come in the work of Jesus, that touch of faith is the touch of healing. Hallelujah. That changes everything.

Hallelujah. So there is a place, this place, this realm of the secret source of winning for every believer. It's for every believer. I don't hear. You know, I'll tell you, Pastor Jay Sharon will confirm this.

I'm actually not a great pastor. I'm an amazing leader, but not a great pastor.

I'm A great pastor. No, I'm a good pastor. I'm a great pastor. I pastor a lot of people. But I don't have a lot of time for people's problems.

Maybe that's how I should do it because I've seen so much of the solution. If you tell me how bad you are, I'm going to tell you how great you are. I can't see your weakness. I can only see his hand of glory upon your life. I don't have a lot of time for you to describe all of the things that happened to you.

Because I've got enough time to tell you what happened to you when he came inside of you.

There is a power when the body of Christ by faith comes into alignment with the purpose of God in a posture of receiving that God wants to pour out his glory. And he will, every single time. And I will say that what is going to happen starting tonight is going to shift the atmosphere of this church and the city of Charlotte. And it will be remembered forever.

Because when you reach out by faith, like I said, the woman, the whole reaching by faith was about this woman changing the destiny of a whole 12 year old generation that was up and coming. Her reaching was to shake a generation, was to take was almost intercessory for an entire generation. When we reach into the glory, it's not just for us.

The city depends on you. There are, there's probably in the city of. In the city of Charlotte, probably every country and nation on this earth wager probably 198 countries represented in your city. Ethnic groups, cultures, people here lonely, longing for home, longing for their countries. No community yet.

No community of faith. Well, it depends what happens in this atmosphere. Whether they hear it or not because there's fuel. It's like when the glory comes, it changes everything. Changes the view.

It's not about your energy. Whether you become a great evangelist or you go knocking door to door, it starts in the atmosphere. The glory of God comes when we as a body agree we gonna get back to Jerusalem for the day of Pentecost. Come hell or high water.

Don't distract me. Don't come with your problems. Ephesus. I know you got issues and I could probably be your solution, but I've got a mission. I've got to get fuel for my tank.

Because the nations depend on it comes from the glory. Let me share a couple of stories.

I have been an evangelist for years. I was Pentecostal. I got saved in a church that was Pentecostal. I never knew anything else My parents never took me to church, so I didn't know anything about religious, organized church. I only knew the Pentecostal church that I grew up in.

So I knew nothing else. So I thought every meeting was about God pouring out on the people. So as I became an evangelist, that was all I did. Go to a church, go to a city, go to a village, go somewhere in the world and say, everybody, close your eyes, lift your hands, let the fire of God come upon you right now. That was me in my early days and still today.

But in the early days was just that the fire of God touched the people. Because there in there, people are healed in their eyes, open in their legs, grow in their crutches, get left, and wheelchairs get left behind. It's in those moments in glory that we, we in our personalities get out of the way and God shows up. So I got preaching one time I was in Thailand as a young evangelist. I went to Thailand and then it was in Cambodia.

I was about 21 years old. And I heard about this tribe in Myanmar, which is Burma in those days, Myanmar today. And the tribe was called the Korin tribe. And they told me there's a tribe that, that is inherently Christian. So it's a Christian group tribe.

And they're at war with the Myanmar government. It's called the Karen. They're still at war today. So they said, there's a tribe at war, but they're Christians now. I was in Cambodia, I was in Thailand, I was in Indonesia.

Christianity was a foreign religion there. No one was inherently Christian. If you were Christian in those countries, you got converted from your religion. This was a Christian tribe, full Christian. I was like, what?

I'm going to find them because I love the body, I love the church, I love my brothers, I'm going to teach them the word. So I took off in the mountains of Burma dressed up like a Burmese smuggled into. There was no border crossings. The war was on. Had to come in without passports and go into the jungles to find the enemy.

The opposition troops so found this, the Korin. They took me in with one other Thai Korin guy who could speak Korin. And we began ministering at that location. We said, we've come to preach the gospel. So they gave us all of the soldiers that were injured during the war.

So they gave us all the soldiers. And it was quite an interesting meeting because just a side note, I had been. A friend of mine had written a song in South Africa like four years earlier, and he had said, listen to the song. And I'd listened to it and it was pretty nice. I said, it's quite good.

And it took off in our country. It was a nice worship song. Took off in the country. And I had said to this worship leader, I said, he was like a concert pianist. So he was not an adventurer.

He was never going to go to Thailand, or he was never going to go to Burma. He was just a concert pianist. So I said to him, andre, I said, you should travel with me. Do something great with your life. Get out of this room.

You know, I'm criticizing his ability to travel, you know, and in the jungle. When I had opened that first meeting, I had said, let's just sing a song in Korin, any song in Korin. They started singing the very song that he wrote in South Africa called I Will Serve no Foreign Gods. I was like there when he wrote it. I was like, andre got to the jungles before I did, you know, it was an interesting side note.

But I preached there. But I heard God tell me at that meeting, he said, my fire must fall upon my church. And they were all religious now. They had not had an evangelist for years. And they're just singing in robes and incense.

And there was no power of God in their lives. So the Lord said to me in that meeting, just preach on the Book of Acts, chapter two. So I started in the first meeting, they gave me five hours a day. That's five meetings a day for five days, 21 years old. That's quite a lot of meetings.

You got to have some content.

So I was like, okay, challenge accepted. So I start. But I hear Lord say, only Acts, chapter two. So I'll start in Acts, chapter two. Now, when the day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all together in one place in one accord.

And there came a sound from heaven. Now I began to share on the Book of Acts, chapter two. And there came a sound. And then the fire fell. It fell on them all.

And they spoke with tongues. And I began to share on the Book of Acts. At the end of the first meeting, I said, listen, the power of God is here for you. Would you like this power of God on your lives? Nobody wanted was just, nope, didn't know what I was saying.

And they were chewing betel nuts, if you know what that is. It's a drug like marijuana. Makes your teeth red, your gums red, and puts you on a little bit of a hide. And the soldiers would eat it, and all gums were all red, and they were all spitting out the lime on the floor. While I was preaching, and I was like, okay, there's soldier on.

I did another meeting for four days, I did the same message, and I made an altar call, and no one responded five hours a day. So by the fourth day, it was like a Thursday. I started exaggerating.

Like, in the jungle, there's only 40 soldiers. It's like, there's pigs outside and there's dogs. There's no electricity. It's just jungles. So you kind of take a little bit of license.

No one's recording you. I'm like, real fire's gonna come on your heads. Real wind will blow through this building. So I'm like, promising the world that real stuff's gonna happen if they just respond. I'm just trying to get someone to move.

Well, 27 of them got up out of their chairs and stood up front, like, real fire, real wind. Okay, here we go. Eyes open. I'm like, close your eyes. No way.

There's fire coming. I'm not closing my eyes. I'm thinking, look. And then I have the secret prayer with the Lord going, okay, you have to come now. I promised them, you better come.

This can't be one of those moments where we just go. We just do it by faith, you know, we just do it by faith. It's got to be real, tangible. And I kind of laid my hands on the first guy with one eye open and waiting because he didn't really understand me. I was speaking through an interpreter.

It's a big communication mess up. You just got to have. It's got to be authentic. You can't. This has to be authentic, otherwise it's going to walk away and this guy falls over on the ground.

I will tell you something about the move of God. It's the same everywhere in the world. If you say, oh, someone pushed them over, they fall over. They fall over in Thailand, they fall over in Japan, they fall over in Indonesia, they fall over in the drc, Congo, they fall over in Brazil. They fall over, they shake, they roll the same way.

They pray in tongues, and it sounds the same. How about that? It's pretty crazy. People say, oh, I don't believe that. Well, you should come with me to Papua New guinea and see them speak in tongues just like you.

Sounds just like you. So anyway, falls over and starts jabbering away. I look down, I look at my interpreter. Is that Corinne? I listen, it's tongues.

Karaba, Sharaba, Dad. Just like yours. Just like mine. Same spirit, same language. I'm like, okay, this is awesome.

Next guy, all 27 of them lay down, okay, Fire of God touched them. I knew at that moment the atmosphere has changed. It didn't change. I was just by faith sharing the word. On day one, I was sharing the word.

On day two, I was breaking that thing until they believed the word. Till they reached out and touched the hem of his garment. They took the word and they believed it. That it, the atmosphere changed. Boom.

I knew it. Thursday afternoon after lunch. Worst time to be preaching. Thursday afternoon after lunch if you're doing a week long conference and that's your slot. Jake, did you get that one?

Jay, did you get the Thursday afternoon slot on the overland conference? Fire of God fell on them and it was a powerful meeting. And we went to sleep that night. Friday morning, Friday morning, a platoon of soldiers came into the village, sent from the President, the prime minister of the Korin nation. They had already heard of what happened on Thursday.

Message left. Our village made its way all the way up to the prime minister's encampment. He sent a platoon to come get me and take me to the prime Minister. Now I'm walking through the jungles with my Bible. 21 year old little surfer from the coast.

Don't know anything about anything.

Get whole platoon come into this house. I've heard what happened. I heard that there was a powerful. It told me that the glory of God came, told me that the presence of God was in the meeting. Then sits me down and pleads with me to represent the Korin before the nations of the world, their plot, their war against.

Because they'd just been left at war. Of course, at that point, I mean, I was like, I don't think I can help you on this at this point in my life, on the warfare, on the humanitarian aid, on the. All the things they were laying on. And it's true, I couldn't. All I was there was a mandate to bring the Word at that point in my life.

But the reality is this, when the atmosphere changes, everything begins to shake, everything shakes. I'll tell you another story. This happened this year, last year when I was 20. Around that same period, about 22, 23 years old, I preached in the city of Jakarta, Indonesia. Went in as a young evangelist into Jakarta.

The, the church in Australia had given. I'd preached in Australia and the pastor from Australia had phoned this church in Jakarta and said, hey, I have a great and mighty evangelist coming. He exaggerated, he oversold me.

And the church was about, probably a 3,000 member church in Jakarta, but they had about 800 people in the meeting that night, which for me was a large meeting. And I got to the meeting, I was late to come into Jakarta and the taxis across town. It's the largest city in the world today. Currently is the city of Jakarta. I think it's 45 million people live in Jakarta now.

And so to get across Jakarta. And I got to the city, to this meeting, and when I got there, the pastor was so disappointed when he saw me. He was visibly disappointed because I wasn't dressed perfectly. My hair was long, I looked young. I looked like I didn't know what I was doing.

But my Bible was scribbled on every page, by the way, because every page was scribbled. It's for the only thing I cared about. I carried the Word. I didn't carry my personality. I didn't carry where I came from.

I'm not exporting my country. I'm coming with the culture of heaven. That's what I cared about. So I looked at this pastor's face and I laughed at him and thinking that was just the most hilarious look on your face of disappointment for a visiting guest speaker. So I got up that night with my Bible in my hand, and I just began to walk, looking at 800 Indonesians, not knowing their culture, not knowing their language.

And I began to greet them. I greet you in the name above every name. The name of Jesus, the name greater than Cancer, the name greater than scoliosis. Every name that is named, his name is greater. I greet you in his name.

I greet you from a continent, the continent of Africa. I come from Africa. They were, like, amazed I was white. What? You're not African?

They left me at the airport, by the way, Never picked me up, because they were waiting for an African. Black. African. I was like, I'm African. Well, I pointed in one direction while I was preaching.

I said, and all of you over there, I just greeted them. And as I did, the whole section just fell on the floor. It fell on the floor. And I knew the glory. The anointing.

Let me say the anointing. I'm not an expert, but I know the anointing. You know the anointing. You felt it. You felt it tonight.

You know the anointing. I know the anointing. I went, okay, that wasn't me. And I was with these two Australians who were traveling with me. And they looked at me, and I looked at them, and I was like, no, let me try this.

And you over here. And they all fell on the floor. Well, that began. That was a move of God, not inspired by human. It was God.

And I knew immediately, this is of you. I'm going to flip into this anointing and stay right there. I'm not moving from it. That lasted six weeks in the city of Jakarta. I did 36 meetings.

Shook the city, Shook the city of Jakarta, shook that church. And then at the end of those meetings, these leaders all came to me and said, you please stay in Jakarta. We will do anything for you to stay. Any amount of money, anything. We will build anything to stay in the city of Jakarta.

And I knew at that point it wasn't my calling. It wasn't for me. And I said, no, I cannot stay. I'm not called to Jakarta. It's for someone else.

And I left Jakarta and never went back. Went many times back to Indonesia, but never back to Jakarta. We went to Jakarta this year, last. Last. End of last year, because we have a base in Indonesia.

And I landed in Jakarta. And an Australian, a Dutch pastor. Actually, actually, Peter, you're gonna have him here soon. Peter Power is coming to preach here. He is an amazing leader.

He's got the largest church in Holland. Let me tell you, if you have the largest church in Holland, you got some anointing on your life. So he's coming here to the refuge. Peter phones me and Sharon and he says, hey, I heard you in Jakarta. You have to meet Johnny, this guy by the name of Johnny.

I go, okay, I'll meet Johnny. Another guy, Robbie Sonderhager from Australia, a psychologist, famous Christian psychologist in Australia, hears him in Jakarta and independently phones Johnny and says, johnny, you should meet Philip and Sharon. They're in Jakarta for one night. So Johnny, who, by the way, is the pastor of the largest church in Jakarta, JPCC, 25,000 members. No, 25,000 member church pastor just gets in a taxi and goes across town to visit some guy.

Jakarta's large. It takes hours to get across. So Joni gets two calls from two key people, and he says, I'll go find Philip and Sharon. He comes to see us and then we start chatting. And in this conversation, I said, johnny, do you remember anything about meetings that happened in 1993 in Jakarta?

I was evangelist and the power of God came upon a church, I don't even know where, came upon a church, but it was a glory cloud. It was a glory that came on the church. Do you know anything about those meetings? You remember anything Joni said? Our church, jpcc, came out of those meetings.

Largest church in Indonesia.

Here we are launching a base in Padang. Jpcc Jakarta Praise Christian center also have the band True Worshipers. If you follow worship music, True Worshipers is the Indonesian band produces Christian English worship. Amazing stuff. We followed them for years.

We sang their songs. We didn't know it was connected. JPCC says, well, we don't do missions outside of Jakarta but since now that, now that we have this, JPCC will serve overland missions anywhere in Jakarta in Indonesia with whatever you need, particularly Indonesian worship teams to come to every event that we have. Imagine that you try and have an event as an evangelist without a local worship team in the largest Muslim country in the world with a Christian on fire worship at every event. I mean what I'm just saying is that came out of 25 years prior US only saying, lord, it's only the atmosphere that must change.

It's only the atmosphere. It's only me posturing my life correctly before you in the glory and in that posture things change. It's in me putting my hand out to the kanaf, the hem of his garment and saying, I will touch when I touch this prophecy, this son of righteousness, he will come with healing in his wings. That reach of faith will remove everything from your life that doesn't, that shouldn't be in your life. Many people tonight listening to us or in this room come with historic pain in your life of disappointment, of rejection, of sickness, of prophecies that have been spoken over your life, that historically on your life the, the reach of faith changes the generation.

It cleans the slate for the whole generation, your whole generation. Not just your life, your children's lives, your children's children's lives, not just your relatives, your neighbour who is close to the physical content of your life. His life has changed the realm, the footprint of your life becomes the realm of change.

We have had people say to us in locations, tough locations around the world, tough locations we go to and people say, oh, you'll never survive there. If they just say that, I go double the amount of trucks if they just say you'll never survive. I say how many people were we sending? Double it if we will. There's no place on earth that the jurisdiction of heaven does not own.

We will go to it. And so when they come with that prophecy, that negativity, they don't understand the word, they don't understand how we touch the knife. We don't touch God out of our need, we touch it out of the prophecy of the Word.

In there is power, there is nothing that can stop you.

Imagine you actually believe that, that there's nothing on this earth can limit God's purpose and destiny for your life. Except you. Because the woman had to push her way through the crowd. It was her responsibility to access that body, that prophecy, that knaf. She had to get to it.

You have to push through. You have to press in by faith. And in that moment, your life has changed and the atmosphere changes and the neighborhood changes and the city's changed and the generations affected and generations upon generations are changed. Hallelujah. Would you stand with me tonight?

I'll tell you one other thing, is the glory doesn't depend on a great worship team. It's an act of faith. It's just faith. The worship is like a slip. It's like a slide.

It slides you in, makes it easier, but it's only accessed by faith. You step into it. Step into it.

A lot of things going to change tonight.

Just before you sing, Rachel, just give us just some keys. And I want to leave a moment now for a response to the hem of his garment. And I know that many of you are saying, like, I've done this before, but faith doesn't know timing. It just knows faith. So I'm going to leave a time for you to come and respond at the altar with your lives right now, if you would come forward.

There's pain in your lives that no counsellor can counsel you out of. Just going to let you know, I know you. You've been hurt. You can't be unhurt. You've lost loved ones.

You can't unloose them. You've lost jobs. You can't just lose that memory. There's pain in your life that the devil uses to message you with something that's not of God. It's not his message.

His message is, my hand has touched you and I have made you whole. And I have finished my work and it's perfect. And it's in you. It's that word, it's that truth that you reach out to. In that truth is the healing.

It's like an eraser on a whiteboard. It just begins to erase all the messages that have come to you.

Now, to the community of faith that is here. All of you that don't have pain.

Because I don't have much pain.

I'm longing for glory.

I mean, I'm just like a drunk person who continually is intoxicated by a glory. And everywhere I go, that glory is manifest through my life. That glory tonight reach in and touch the hem of his garment fall.
