War On Truth

I love this house. I love the pastors here. I love many of you. This is home to me. My assistant, Penny, couldn't come with me.

She has a hairline fracture in her foot. And my husband said, bring somebody else. I said, I don't need anyone else because this is my family. I'm home. And I truly love you and I'm honored to be here.

I'm honored every time you invite me. You've had me year after year. I'm like God. I'm running out of things to say.

But I want you to stay with me one moment. Thank you so much. I read this. I started the Word that I gave to our young people just before this meeting. And.

And while I was sitting here, I felt the Holy Spirit say, I want you to just give the beginning and. And then we're going to pray. There's a story in Second Second Kings two, and it's this leader from Jericho, and he goes to the prophet Elisha, and he says, listen, we have a problem. He says, the land has so much potential. He says, it's well situated, it's beautiful.

He said, but what's flowing in is affecting the land. The water is not good. I mean, this is Jericho. This is where the school of the prophets was. This is the place where the walls gave way to a shout.

The name Jericho means fragrance. Place of fragrance. It's the land of miracles. So Elisha, he recognizes the problem. He says, the problem is the source.

The problem is the source wasn't the land that was the problem. It was what was flowing into the land that was the problem. And this water that was meant to nourish the land, the water that was meant to bear fruit in the land, it seemed every time fruit was going to be born, every time fruit was going to rise up from the ground, somehow this water, this toxic water, caused the fruit to miscarry, so to speak. So the Prophet says, give me a new bowl.

I need an empty bowl, and I need salt. And he takes the salt and he puts it in the new bowl, and he pours the salt into the water. And the Bible says that the water was healed and the city was changed. Now we know that salt is a type of the Holy Spirit. And we know that wherever the salt of the Spirit is, the landscapes change.

Wherever we go and sprinkle the salt of God, the source of the evil, seems to change. And tonight, with the word the Lord has given me, and it is not an easy word, it is not going to tickle any ears, but this is an urgent Word. I pray tonight that we would give God an empty bowl, a new bowl, because he's not going to fill what's already full. He can't fill what he cannot have. But if we would all humble ourselves tonight and say, God, I am going to throw out my opinions.

I'm not going to be stuck with the Democrats and the Republican and all of this nonsense. We are fighting a demonic war, and we need a new bowl because we need the salt of God to pour his holy Spirit's power in this source so that wherever we go, our city will change. Will you say Amen? Let's pray. Pray.

Let's put our hands on our bowl. Father, tonight we humble ourselves. We are so desperate for you, Lord, and we want to run the race with endurance. So we're not going to look to the right or to the left. We are going to fix our eyes on our Jesus, and we are going to run and run and run, no matter what goes on around us, Lord.

And you could actually make us be influential to change our city, our home, our job, our school.

We pray this in the name of Jesus. And everyone said amen and amen. Thank you so much. You know what, Lord? Let's thank the Lord for the musicians, the absolutely amazing, amazing ministers of song.

They are not singers, they're psalmist. And I did tell Pastor Terry, I said, please, the next event you do, please don't get outside people. You don't need them. You got what you need on the inside. It's already in the house.

What you need is in the house. And these people are absolutely incredible. And I am so honored to be able to stand along able ministers of the gospel. And I know, I know your pastors. I know these people.

They love the Lord and they love the Lord the way I love the Lord because He is everything to me. He didn't have to call my name, but he did. He didn't have to save my soul, but he did. He didn't have to raise me up, but he did. And he keeps on doing it over and over again.

So here goes the word. I want you to hold on to your seats because it's not an easy word. I labeled this the war on truth. The world is at war. I know.

You know what? You'd have to be an ostrich. You'd have to have your head in the sand to know that the world is at war. We have the Ukraine, Russia war. We have the Israel Hamas war.

We have racial wars. We have identity wars. We have university wars. And there is a Threat of wars on every side. We have North Korea, we have China, we have isis.

However, none of these wars can destroy our soul. None of these wars can destroy our soul. Remember that. But there is a war, and it's more sinister, it's more destructive, it's more subversive, it's more dangerous. And it's a war that is systematic to attempting to overthrow God's authority, undermine God's word, where evil is disguised as good.

Wrong is right, right is wrong. Up is down, down is up. And this war isn't reported on the news. As a matter of fact, the news promotes this war. It's a war on truth.

Truth matters. What we believe matters. What we believe to be the truth matters. Yet the truth is being sacrificed on the altar of feelings. Feeling good is more important than finding God.

And the unraveling of truth brings chaos. Remember this. Satan disguises himself as an angel of light before he declares war. So beware of Mr. Nice Guy. That's petting your feelings.

In second Thessalonians, the apostle Paul speaks about the end times. And he speaks about a great falling away from the truth. Not necessarily from the church, but from the truth. And this is what it says in 2nd Thessalonians 2, 10b and 11. It says, they perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.

Because they refused to love the truth, because they refused to embrace the truth, they perish. It doesn't say they didn't know the truth. It just says they didn't love the truth. And then it goes on to say, for this reason God sends a powerful delusion. Does anybody feel like we are living in a delusion?

The world is delusional. For this reason. God sends a powerful delusion so that they will actually believe a lie. God doesn't want to send the delusion. It's not God's plan to send a delusion.

God's plan was to send his son Jesus to save to the uttermost. But because they refused to love the truth, there's this powerful delusion that has been cast over the world. Because they had pleasure in unrighteousness, instead of taking pleasure in the truth, they were condemned. God sends a powerful delusion because they refuse to love the truth. This is very sobering.

And deception is costly. Without truth, we live in a delusion. I looked up the definition of delusion. It's an unfounded, mistaken, false belief, opinion or idea. An erroneous belief held in the face of evidence that is totally contrary and it is resistant to all reason.

This Is why people are saying that men can have babies. No, they can't. Women that think they're men can have babies. They're saying men can have periods. No, they can't.

Women that think they're men can have periods. They cannot define what a woman is. A woman on the Supreme Court couldn't answer the question, what is a woman? Follow the science. Follow the science.

A woman is somebody with XX chromosomes. A biological male is XY chromosomes. End of story. But the truth is being sacrificed because we don't want people to feel bad. If a child identifies as a cat, the teacher has to act as though the child's a cat.

I know a teacher in the Chicago school system that has a child that thinks he's a cat. She has to put out cat food for the child. This is insanity. And if she doesn't.

Compromised with his feelings, she could lose her job.

Does God love these people? Absolutely.

God loves me. While I was yet a sinner, I was crazy.

God loves those people. He wants those people saved. But we cannot call wrong right. We cannot call wrong right for the sake of feelings. So what is truth?

Well, Jesus said to his Father, thy word is truth. God's word is truth. Heaven and earth will pass away, but God's word will not change. It will not budge. It doesn't care what reality TV says.

God's word will not change. Jesus said in John 17:17, Sanctify them. Make them holy with your truth. Thy word is truth. The truth of God is the only thing that can change a life.

Nothing else could change a life. God's word is what holds the key of eternal life. It holds the key to live on this earth. It's the only book with the where the author is present every time you read it. What is truth?

Jesus said, I am the truth. I am the way, the truth and the life. He's not a truth. He's not a convenient truth. He is the truth.

And no one comes to the Father. I don't care how good you are, how much money you give to charity, how brilliant you are. No one comes to the Father but through the door. Jesus Christ. Because his blood alone was the payment for our sin.

John 8:32. You shall know the truth. You shall know the truth. And it's the truth that will set you free. Because his truth brings freedom.

The world's truth keeps us in bondage. The more the world wants to get free, the more confused they are. We have 72 genders now. Don't you know?

The world has redefined male and Female gender. They've redefined marriage. They redefined what a baby is in the womb. And yet these are biblical truths. These are biblical truths.

These are not political hot potatoes. These are biblical truths because who made them male and female? Who created marriage? Who's the one that knew you while you were in your mother's womb? He did.

We need to stop backing down. Canada just passed a law that said if you recite scripture in public, it is considered hate speech and you will be arrested. Australia passed a law that you can legally discriminate against Christians. I don't know if you saw this, but we now have the Queen James Bible. They have taken out all scripture on homosexuality.

We have TED talks about pedophilia. Let's not be harsh. It's the way they feel. We have Drag Queen story Hour yet in a public library, you can't talk about Jesus Christ.

We have pornographic books in school under the guise of free speech. Oh, feelings, feelings. Abortion is called reproduction rights, yet it's about termination, not reproduction. Vermont is urging the public to replace the words sons and daughters to gender neutral words like child and kid.

Delusional. Isaiah 5, 2021. Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil that put light for darkness, darkness for light, who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter. Woe unto them who are wise in their own eyes. And without truth, we have chaos.

Think about the armor of God, the belt of truth. Without that belt, everything else unravels. You can't have faith unless it's tucked into truth. Everything is tucked into truth. Over 20 years ago, the Holy Spirit spoke to my heart.

And I don't consider myself a prophet by any stretch of the imagination, but I do have an ear that hears what the spirit is saying. And 20 years ago, I told the people in my church, I God has spoken this to me, that the Bible is going to be considered hate speech. And we are very, very close to that. Where the Bibles are going to be taken away from us. Don't think it can happen.

And he gave me this revelation. This is what he said. Who's to say what's right? Who says what's wrong? So if there's no right, then there's no wrong.

If there's no wrong, then there's no sin. And if there's no sin, there's no need for a Savior. If there's no sin, then there's no need for a Savior. That's the game plan. That's the enemy's game plan.

He cares nothing about your feelings. He Just wants to get Jesus out of the way because he knows that Jesus is the only hope of the world. Jesus is his arch enemy and he wants to nullify everything that Jesus did on Calvary. So here's the question. How did the church, how did the church, how did believers, people that love the Lord, how did we get here?

One word, compromise.

Compromise. We've allowed the enemy to chip away at the truth of God's word. The needle of truth has been moved to accommodate people's feelings. I've done it. I've done it.

We've put political correctness over Jesus Christ. We have put PC over, over jc. And churches have been bullied to tone it down. Otherwise they'll be labeled narrow minded. It could be misconstrued as hate speech.

The enemy has hijacked the word love. Now love is agreement with any crazy thing. Otherwise if you disagree, that's not loving. I say this. I'm so glad.

When that pastor preached to me 49 years ago in that little Pentecostal church, I am so glad he wasn't worried about my feelings. He said, do you know where you would spend eternity? He didn't say everyone's going to heaven. And when he said those words, I was convicted. I was cut to the core.

Do you want to walk around with your opinions or do you want God to cut away the cancer of compromise in our life?

The very beginning, the enemy has used the strategy of compromise. Look at the Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve. Did God really say what did, how did, how did that work out for them? What did compromise do for them? It got them kicked out of the garden.

So I want to quickly show us four tactics that the enemy uses to get us to compromise. The truth and four spiritual delusions that result in compromise. And I'm going to use the book of Exodus. I'm going to use Moses and Pharaoh. Moses, of course, is a type of Christ.

He's a deliverer. He is determined to go forward and he is not compromising. But Pharaoh is a type of the enemy, right? He's determined to hold Moses back. He's determined to cause Moses to compromise.

And Pharaoh in this juncture in Exodus, he is large and in charge. He is seated on the throne and he's used to calling the shots. Basically, he's a bully. Just like the world out there. We are being bullied.

We are being bullied. Think about a bully, guys. Does a bully ever change when you agree with the bully? No. What happens?

The bully gets more bullier.

The bully doesn't back down, the more you say, okay, I'll give you my lunch. Well, tomorrow it's the money. The next day it's the sneakers. The next day it's the jacket. The next day it's a phone.

A bully is always taking and taking and taking. And that's what the enemy is. So Pharaoh wants Moses to bend a knee and worship God on his terms. And the strategy has not changed for believers. I want you to listen.

So these plagues happen, you know, Pharaoh. Moses goes to Pharaoh, let my people go under the direction of the Holy Spirit. And of course Pharaoh will not let him go. And there's plague one, plague two, plague three, and I think it's now seven plagues in Moses. Pharaoh starting to realize, well, you know what, maybe I should just like give this guy like a little bit.

So he wants, he wants Moses now to bend his knee. He wants, he wants him to water down his worship, basically. So here's control tactic number one. It's found in Exodus 8,25. I am not going to put scriptures on the board, on the screen, because I think this is more something we need to put in our heart.

So he says to Pharaoh, says to Moses, okay, okay, okay, all right. You could worship, but you must do it here in this land, right? You have to stay in Egypt. You have to stay in the world. The enemy wants to control our steps.

He wants Moses to worship on his terms. And some believers have accepted these terms. They worship God, but they let the word dictate what is acceptable worship what is acceptable Christianity, Easy believism. So spiritual delusion number one is that we can have a Christless Christianity. The delusion is we could serve God with both feet planted in the world.

No, you can't. Some, some believers, they know more about the culture than they know about Christ. They know more about the Kardashians than they know about the word of God. That's why people could get up, artists could get up at the Grammys and say, I want to thank my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Even though the lyrics that they won the Grammy for is filthy, even though they're dressed half naked.

He is not your Lord. He is not your Savior. Being in Christ and being in church are two different things. Going to McDonald's doesn't make you a hamburger.

There's one kind of Christian, and it is a born again Christian. And when you're born again, you know your birth date, just like you know your birthday when you're born. When you're born again, you know something divine has entered your Life. And there was a change. I remember this woman, she was in our choir.

And I don't have Facebook. And I recently got Instagram because I was made to do an Instagram live. I don't know, whatever it's called. And this woman. So people came to me and said, you know, this woman, she's in your choir.

But on Facebook, she posted her Halloween outfit. And she was a dominatrix. That's right. She had a whip. She had on all leather, you know, and she was large and in charge.

So, you know, like, you know, like, this is awkward. How do I approach her? But I know that she can't stay in the choir and sing songs like Jesus is everything and she's a dominatrix of all things on Facebook. So I approached her, I said, I need to talk to you. And this is after service.

And I said, you know, somebody brought this to my attention. I don't have Facebook, I don't see it. And she said, well, yeah, you know, it was my Halloween costume. So I said to her, was your Halloween costume, like, really? Like you didn't think that that might be something you shouldn't wear?

I mean, listen, when I got saved, I dressed very immorally. I had the shortest shorts, I had everything belly. You know, I had a bathing suit. When I even first got saved, I went from this string bikini. Then I bought this bathing suit.

It was cut up to here and down to here. And I was in my backyard and I thought, wow, how modest. To me, I have a one piece on.

But then these people, they used to bring us into the prison to minister. Well, well, they ministered and we went with them. We would bring them sandwiches and help them out, set up the equipment. And they drove up my driveway and I went, oh my goodness, these people are here. And then I looked down and I said, man, I better go.

I don't think this bathing suit, I don't think it's good for them to see me in this bathing suit. And the Holy Spirit said to me, it isn't. I've been looking at you the whole time.

So don't tell me you're born again and you don't find anything wrong. And let me just say this because I was going to speak this different word, unloving, correction. And if I would have had the notes, I would have said, well, maybe God, I need to loving discipline. He chastens those he loves. Listen, when God convicts you, you know what conviction is?

This is how I look at conviction. It's like having something foreign on you when you're going through the airport, what is that thing? Security.

And it goes, beep, beep, beep. Now, if you don't hand over your water bottle and you don't take off your Gucci metal belt, guess what? You're not getting on the plane. Well, that's what conviction is, right? It's that you go to airport jail.

You're not getting on the plane unless you hand over what God is asking you to. That attitude, the unforgiveness, the grudge, the string bikini.

You want to go far, but you're not going anywhere. And every day it's a new security. Beep. Get rid of it, Maria. Beep.

Take it off. So I approached this woman and I said, you know, like, didn't you, like, think that maybe this wasn't appropriate? And she said, oh, I don't see anything wrong with it. I said, really?

I mean, even when I was in the world, I wouldn't think a dominatrix outfit, like, was appropriate. And she said, I. I said, well, are you born again? And she said, I was one of the heads of the committee of the church I came from. I said, I didn't ask you if you were the head of the committee. I didn't ask you if you were the President of the United States.

I asked you, are you born again? And she was very upset with me. But then she broke down and she cried. And she's serving the Lord for 100 years already with her family. We cannot serve God with both feet in Egypt.

Compromise number two. So another plague passes, and then Pharaoh calls Moses back and he says, okay, okay, okay, okay.

You could go, but don't go too far. Read it. Exodus 8. 27. The enemy wants to control how far we go.

Stay close. You could go, Go to the women's meeting, but don't go too far. You know, don't be a weirdo. Don't be one of those fanatics. Don't be always like, I have to read my Bible.

You little holy roller. Stay close enough so that I could dangle temptation and draw you back. See, Sunday is enough. Don't be bringing Sunday into Monday and Tuesday. And don't you dare.

Don't you dare bring Sunday into Friday. No, no, Friday's our night. Friday is where you rest and relax and you let go of all your stress. That's our night. Stay close where I could keep my eye on you.

Spiritual delusion number two. You can have a cross list. Christianity. No, you can't. And that sounds legalistic because people will say, I'm saved by grace.

I don't know if you've ever seen somebody will post something like amazing and all of a sudden like the million comments. I don't have to be perfect.

I don't know. My Bible says be holy as I am holy. You know, I'm saved by grace. Well, this is what Titus says. He says, for the grace of God teaches us to say no and oh no, no, no to ungodliness, to dominatrix outfits and worldly passions, and to say yes to a self controlled, upright and godly life in this present age.

That's what the grace of God is. Grace is not a license to sin. It's a stepping stone not to sin. So Moses turns around, he says, nope, nope, I'm not going. No one day journey.

God requires me a three day journey and God controls my step. Compromise number three, Psalm 10, verses 8 to 9. Pharaoh says, okay, okay, okay, you can go. But exactly who is going with you?

You could go, but go alone. Go alone. Right? You don't need the whole family to go with you. Your friends, your neighbors.

Come on, keep this thing to yourself. Right? Keep your religion to yourself. Leave your kids home on Sunday. They don't need to go to church.

They want to sleep in, for crying out loud. What kind of parent are you? Dragging them off to church or let them play sports? Come on. You know little Sally, she.

She loves dance class and they only have it on Sunday. She's not going to be a Rockette. Bring her to church. Bring her to church.

Spiritual delusion number three. You can have a connectionless or a churchless Christianity. No accountability. I come and go when I want. I'm the answer to anybody.

No real commitment. You know why I don't belong to a church? Because I have church hurt. I have church hurt. You got food poisoning.

Did you stop eating? No. You found a new restaurant.

See, God saved us. To be connected. You can't love the head and not love the body. So Moses turns around, he says, nope, nope, we're all going. He says, we will all go with our young and our old, with our sons and our daughters, with our flocks and our herds, for we must hold a feast before the Lord.

Compromise or control? Tactic number four. So Pharaoh says, okay, okay, you could go. You could go. Maybe someone can help me with the keys.

Please. He says, okay, okay, you can go. You can go. You could even get involved. You could even be accountable.

But leave your flocks and herds behind. That's Exodus 10:24. See, this is the last frontier Our finances. Spiritual delusion number four. We can have a costless Christianity.

No, you can't. Billy Graham said, tell me what you think about money and I'll tell you what you think about God. For these two are closely related. A man's heart is closer to his wallet than anything else. Where your treasure is, that's where your heart will be.

So of course, the enemy says to you, no, no, no. You could go to church. After all, you're volunteering your time. You don't have to give your treasure. And you know the church, they always want your money.

Money, money, money. Yeah, well, the light company wants the money, so. And as far as I know, God hasn't been raining down manna from heaven in dollars and bills. The church wants your money.

That's your wealth.

Keep it for yourself. And then Moses answers. He says, no, no, my flocks and my livestock will go with us. Not a hoof shall be left behind, for this is what we use to serve the Lord. In other words, if it belongs to me, it belongs to him.

My monies are a big part of my worship. And then Pharaoh finally let the people go. Now, here's the gist of it. Do you realize how powerful not compromising is?

Do you realize how powerful standing your ground is against the bullying tactics of the enemy? It's difficult.

Standing your ground is not the easy way out. But look at what some people lost by compromising. Lot sold the truth for a home in the city. Esau sold the truth for a mess of porridge. King Saul sold the truth for the support of the people.

Judas sold the truth for 30 pieces of silver. Pilate sold the truth for the applause of the crowd. Realize this. If Moses would have compromised, he would have never saw the Red Sea split. It was because he made no concessions with Pharaoh the bully.

He saw the Red Sea split and a million plus people walk across on dry ground. And the enemy, the bully, was drowned behind him. It was because Daniel didn't compromise that King Darius said, I want to honor your God. It was because Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego didn't compromise. King Nebuchadnezzar turned around and changed all of the religion in that place because of no compromise.

This is a true story. You might have heard it before, but I want to ask you, are we these Christians?

There's a story that in was 150 years ago, there was this great revival in Wales. And I'm sure you've heard about the Welch revival. And out of this revival, hundreds of people went into India as missionaries to bring the gospel of Jesus Christ. And these were primitive tribes, they were aggressive, they were headhunters. But one missionary succeeded, getting one family saved.

A husband, a wife, two kids. And this, this tribal family, they fall so in love with Jesus that now they're so salted that they're affecting everyone around them. And now they're tribes are getting saved. So one day, the angry village chief, he called the family the original family. He was furious because now they're not worshiping their gods and they're turning around and they're loving the Lord.

So he calls his family and he says, I want you to denounce Jesus Christ.

But moved by the spirit, this man, this saved man with his family and kids, he utters the words, I have decided to follow Jesus.

So the, the chief, he puts his two kids in front of him and he tells them, deny that, deny the Lord. But he doesn't. And they take arrows and they kill two of their children. So then he says, I want you to deny Jesus Christ. He says, no, I won't deny him.

I'm going to kill your wife. He said, though none go with me, still I will follow. And they kill the wife. The chief said, go ahead. I'm going to take your life and to take your life.

And he utters the words, the cross before me, the world behind me. No turning back. No turning back. And they killed a man. But look at what happens.

The chief was so moved by the faith of this man, he wondered why should this man, his wife and two children die for a man that lived over 2,000 years ago? He said, there must be some remarkable power behind this man's faith. All of a sudden the chief says, I want to taste their faith. I want to taste their faith. And in a spontaneous confession of faith, this chief says, I too belong to the Lord and the whole village, except to Christ.

All because the man did not compromise. We sing that song I have decided to follow Jesus. No turning back. No turning back. It was rearranged in 1959.

I'm here to tell you tonight the one and only hope we have to stand against the bullying tactics, against the lies, against this war on truth is this and to see a revival is the non compromising bloodbath Truth telling prayer praying Church of Jesus Christ A church that loves the truth and will not be budged. They will not budge. They will not. They will not bend. We need a baptism of the Holy Spirit.

Because remember before the apostles were filled with the Holy Spirit, they were like little boys. They were all Shut up in this upper room. And they were so scared, they were afraid to say the name of Jesus. You know, Peter denies him. I don't know him.

I don't know him. But then the Holy Spirit came and this is what we need. We don't need produce meetings. We don't need everything in order. We need the power of the living God to fall upon us, to give us the courage and the hut spa that we need not mean the truth in love.

But we need to stop bending to every wind of doctrine that's out there. I thought about how they couldn't get Jezebel down in the Old Testament. Not even Elisha could get Jezebel down. Elisha even scared. I'm sorry?

Jezebel even scared. Elisha, right. He went a three day journey into the desert. He was terrified of her. But it wasn't until this prophet named Jehu was anointed by Elisha.

The Bible says that with the company of men he rode through the towns. And the townspeople would say, do you come in peace? And he says, what does peace have to do with harlotry and whoredom? I'm not making concessions with what's going on in the world. I don't care what you say.

You could put me in jail. But I am not going to say a man can have a baby. I am not going to allow children to go to drag queen. Drag queen story hour. This is absurd.

And with this company of men, he rides through the town looking for Jezebel. And when Jezebel sees, sees him, he calls him, she calls him by some derogatory name. See, the world is trying to cheapen the name Christian. You're Christian, stupid. You believe in something you don't see.

And it's tried to make us ashamed of Christianity. Ashamed of the gospel. Paul says, I am not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ. For is the hope of salvation. And to some it's the smell of death.

It absolutely is. Well, you better hold your nose because we're not going to compromise. And there's Jezebel on the top of some tower because right now the enemy's on a tower and he's mocking us. And for anybody to deny that you're living with your head in the sand. We are, we are ridiculed, we are hated.

We are being pushed back in our little upper rooms, scared of what to say because they might call us names.

And Jezebel is surrounded by these eunuchs. And you know what a eunuch is? It's somebody that was castrated she's surrounded by all the people she castrated. And Jehu says, throw her over. It is going to take a company of believers.

A company. We're not going alone. See, that's Elisha's mistake. He went alone. He went alone.
