Hope Groups Descriptions
Sexual Integrity (men)
A lot of people are startled by the fact that 97% of Christian men have viewed pornography. Worse yet, a recent survey shows that one-third of young Christian men are addicted to porn and one-third of married Christian men will have an affair. The problem is that the church doesn’t really know what to do. It’s a topic that people don’t want to talk about. So, it is avoided–even at the cost of hearts. We don’t want to avoid the issue any longer … this group is designed to help men with pornography, lust, masturbation or sex addiction from a Biblical perspective.

Families/Friends of Addicts (men and women)
This group is designed to support and equip the friends and family members of addicts. We will use the CRAFT (The Community Reinforcement and Family Training) curriculum. This material is a compassionate and effective approach for engaging a reluctant loved one into treatment. Family members learn strategies to take care of themselves while also increasing the motivation for positive changes in their loved ones. In research studies CRAFT results in loved ones voluntarily entering treatment more than twice as often when compared with Al Anon, or using the well-known intervention approach.

Dealing with Infertility for Couples (men and women)
This group is designed for couples struggling to conceive children. We will study, from a Biblical perspective, couples that have struggled with conceiving a child and how God ministered to and healed them. We will seek understanding by considering their posture of faith, as well as how our posture can hinder us from receiving our healing. We will also be encouraged by testimonials from couples who have received their miracle children.
